One of the most neat things of being an avatar is that we don’t need health insurance. A lot of stuff can happen to us: we could use theft/griefer insurance, property/inventory insurance and maybe even an insurance for sudden loss of income. But we just can not get ill - unless we choose so ourselves.

But there’s the problem of the human. If our human gets ill, there is not much we can do. I’ve told my human that now she does not need to go to work, I can have more playtime. But no, she told me her head and eyes hurt like hell, and that despite her wanting me to continue my Slife as usual, she just can’t help me with that at the moment. Cheap excuses, I say! And thinking I went to all that trouble to get her that neat top.

I convinced her to a quick in-world visit, but I found no friends, only Hippos and Waiting’s. As they say, bad luck always comes in batch. :(

So I do not have any other option but to listen to the human complain over and over that her head hurts when she moves it, that she feels like having a major hangover without having had the fun of the booze before and that there’s no point of living when you’re locked in at home and you can’t stand reading something or watching a monitor or TVscreen. That and having to see her run to the toilet every two hours. I still don’t understand why she does that though. I know about hairball problems, but once it’s gone, well… the stomach should be good for another month or two?

Dear Linden Labs, please fix my ‘ill human’ bug ASAP. It’s even worse than having all your friends change into Hippos without prior notice - again.
