Loki escorted me to the prize declaration on the Vacature sim I talked about earlier. Ow yes, and before we left, we did do some posing.

A lot of results, but I liked this one the most. Looks like Loki and I are very busy with a ‘I can look the thoughest!’ ‘No, I can!’ ‘Just look at me!’ ‘Ok, you’re though, but I’m more though!’ discussion.

I still think I won this one! *grins*

What I got at the - not so crowded - prize declaration? A notecard titled ‘Bongo’, which told me to email my RL data to the lady and then she would get me my price. Aha. My price. *smiles*

I did find it a bit strange though, that I was asked to e-mail. This is SL after all. My IM to Brigitta Barbosa to ask if I could just send my RL data by IM was not responded too. Well. Luckily I, Vint Falken, have e-mail. Neither did ‘the voice’ was used for the ceremony. So there goes the voice-conspiracy-theory (Lindens pushing voice because the ‘corporates’ want it that badly): companies do not utilise voice anyway*. (*This case my not be representable for all RL companies in SL. ;))

And then? Party time! Lovely tunes like Zombie Nation (Kernkraft) and Freed From Desire (Gala) by DJ Kiyoshi Nishi - who seems to be at the beginning of his Second Life DJ career? Not even a MySpace page to link to? No nothing? - and then I even forgot to request The Logical Song! *grins*

I also had a nice voice(!) chat with Yves Welles - I can confirm now, his male avie is really male with cute accent ;) - and it seems Looker and I are both going to shoot his Second Life wedding. Which will be a pleasure, especially if you look at his amazingly beautiful fiancee, Elise Bourne. The party was ok, although I did not really feel the urge to force my PC to run all hot - again - after an obliged reboot - so I did not return. I did not know that many people there anyway (besides Loki and Dalien) and it was strange to be the only non-human Belgian - except for the cute elven boy and Dalien. Especially after a ‘you look that pale’ remark (I’m not pale! I’m white with grey spots! And sometimes even pink spots! *sobs*) and a ‘Yes, that’s better’ after I switched to human skin. Pffff.

As for the Vacature builds itself? Corporate clean, but in a good way. Even a shadow texture on the floor under the table. Neat! Those are the details which I like.

I loved the chairs - which were of course not copyable - but missed a bartender animation and had a pain trying to snapshot people without constantly having ads in the background. If I’m correct, Vacature has some RL after work lounge bar stuff too. I wonder if there are as many company ads on the walls as well.
