August: 10 mainland regions auctioned per day
August 14, 2007 11:11 amNow Second Life land prices have reached a new low - L$8 per square meter, it has never been that cheap since my first rezday - Linden Labs finally understands the importance of communicating with their residents. On their blog they announce that starting today Linden Labs will inform the residents about the amount of new mainland regions that will go on auction in the near future.
Up to end of August 2007 they will auction off on average 10 regions per day. Also they promise to blog about their expected supply rates for the first half of September at the end of August.
‘In order to provide better information to the community we would like to begin announcing our rates of mainland supply in advance whenever it makes sense to do so.’
‘Provide better information to the community’ sounds like heaven. ‘Whenver it makes sense - to Linden Labs, that is - to do so‘ scares me a bit still, though. :p
Does anybody have a clue what this will do to Second Life mainland prices? Will they drop even further, stay stable at 8L$/m² or rise again?
