Here is a photo that I took of Gina, where she wears an IM all over herself: http://www.flickr.com/photos/peterstindberg/2495469012/

No one I spoke to had a work around. The PC I used to have the the iMac I have use the same NVIDIA chipset. I have another example on Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/uccellopoultry/528996227/) and more on my hard drive.

It's visible to other avatars. I just fished a snapshot out of my recycle bin (hooray for pack rat tendencies) I took this week of GoSpeed Racer wearing the Clocktower of Edloe Island on her upper body: http://www.flickr.com/photos/felineslade/3050505347/. She resolved it by rebaking, but not before I managed to get a snapshot.

yes it was a bugt .. they tell me it is a known NVIDIA bug and they also told me the workaround but I forgot it.
I regret I did not take a snapshot ... I was terraforming so it was a bit annoying and I quickly relogged ... a pity

Wildstar, that sounds beautiful. Did you snapshot? (And was that a bug, or did you texture your sea with blogposts yourself?)

As for the Second Life Classic product, maybe that's one of the new premium account offerings? ;)

@Peter: I did not know that. This can be quite dangerous then, imagine very sensitive / private IM's plastered on yourself when attending a public event.

Does anybody have a link to that Flickr photograph - I think by Arahan Claveau - where he was just complaining about SL 'buggyness' in main chat, which then got printed on his clothing layer?

Really, you just can't keep a good bug down. I've been waiting for the stripes bug to come back. In fact, I predicted in in this post on my blog (http://poultryreport.blogspot.com/2008/11/bugged-again.html), I reported it often and even talked to a couple Lindens about it directly but it simply went away. With the reoccurrence of several other ages-old bugs (like the Alt-Zoom-Click-Crash one) lately and the decrease in frame rates, it's like the Second Life® I used to know. Maybe it is a new product: Second Life Classic©®℗℠™. Soon to be followed by Second Life Lite©®℗℠™? "One-Third the Rez but all the Lag of Regular."
