Cat in tree and WindLight First LookMay 30, 2007 4:06 am
And, lookie! I can turn my sky B&W. *Puurrrrs some more* And moving a single slider makes you switch from cloudy to bright clear sky. *Puursss again* And so much more… Ow, btw: ‘Turn render ground off’ does not work anymore. And half of the settings make it look like you’re in an underwater world or so. But who cares, right? New visual toys!!! *Puuurrrrs and swiches tail*
PS. I’m stuck in the tree and don’t dare to climb down anymore. Camron, put on that fireman costume and come to the rescue?! ;)

I feel I have lost my firemans outfit. Youre on your own, Vint.
Damn, I couldn’t explore long this morning before going back to work (why did they put first look client THE DAY I start again to work !).
However the rendering was nicer on my pretty macbook pro :P
I hope to do some snapshots soon (and have an effect I would like to try with..)
I just started using the new firstlook client last night, which was perfect timing to coincide with Chloe and I visiting The Lost Gardens of Apollo. I love the new sky, and I had fun playing with the settings too! It makes for great photos, especially for someone like me who likes to rely on “natural” lighting.
/me stands under the tree and holds out her arms and says “It’s ok, kitty, I can catch you…I think…”
Started using the First Look viewer last night, haven’t gotten to play with it much, but am very impressed so far. Can’t wait to play some more.
I had also a first try last night. Wonderful! I am impatient to visit some interesting places real soon, to see what result we can get from it.
Hmmm. Tobie, the skies are ‘natural’ but the lighting? I’ve seen some serious shading errors already.
*Jumps in Tobies arm and *purrrs** Ty! At least you know how to behave as a real g… euhm… cute Neko lady! ;)
*sighs*
I’m off the grid one day, and you already have someone else in your arms.
Oh well, if it were going to be anyone, it might as well be Vint ;)
