Barbie’s UZI
October 29, 2007 3:52 pmWell, no excuse here, sauf que Veyron challenged me. This gun does look better than the My Little Pony M4, no? I figured even cute little Barbie girls would want to look decently tough, hence not all in pink. And I’ve put the VintLabs logo on it to make sure there is no mistake about this not being an official Barbie release.

Re: Re: Concerning the cow

Subject: Re: Re: Concering the cow
Ok, hun. I know. I shouldn’t have caged you. But I was a bit jealous of you showing your new silks off in that manner in front of Dalien. And you then changed in that awesome robot. Even more jealousy. And it was just that Dalien couldn’t defend himself, as he was constantly crashing and if I had to change to the Luger first to be able to shoot with blueberry cakes, maybe I would not have been able to pull the triggger in a timely fashion. So, I’m really sorry, but the reflex to draw and go into mouselook was stronger then myself. I apoligize.
I really don’t want to know about the stuff you and Gideon did after I left - ok, I do am curious, but that’s of no importance here - but was it really necessesary to leave those two Xcite bears in my skybox? If I try to communicate with them, they do nothing but moaning. I tried to feed them, but they won’t eat anything but honey. And the lady bear can’t get the honey jar to open. Would you please drop by to collect your bears? I’d take them to the SLBlogmeet with me, but I’m afraid they won’t obey to me and neither of them is accepting the collars I’m offering, so I can’t leash them. It would just be to risky, we don’t want them to eat half our SLBlogosphere, do we?
So, would you please be as kind as to take them back into your inventory?
Sincerily yours,
Vint

SL Bikini Project: Vint Falken for Belgium
May 4, 2007 4:53 amFor the SL Bikini Project and just to show of my ‘belgian flag’ bikini.
In the shower with my (this time correct) belgian flag bikini…
… and my favorite scripter /scriptess (told you we’d be friends! ;)) …
… after something really odd happened to me.
If you feel like running around / sunbathing / skydiving / jetskying / whatever in our belgian tricolour, you can pick it up for free at SLBoutique, using the MetaMart HUD (great review of the third gen HUD, btw) at Zhivago hospital or in my skybox.

Hero’s in SL
April 30, 2007 8:33 amThey should have never released that hero costume thingie. It’s way to inspiring for some people!
Although I must admit, I’m curious who killed the cat.. euhm.. neko.
I’m surely going to follow up on this one. It’s always nice to see a Girl With Guns contribute her part to making the SL world a safe place for us all to reside!
SL-hero #2: Cristiano Midnight.
For the open letter to LindenLabs. Does this quote from Kean Kelly sounds awefully familiar: ‘Hm… $8kL missing from my balance, 12k items missing from my inventory, nobody online except (hippos) and all my attachments in my ass. Yeah.. it must be wednesday! Yay!’? Then do sign this letter!
Update: LL did respond to the letter on their official blog. More answers later this week. They promise. :D

Vint, Neko of the Reich
April 17, 2007 10:38 am
When I first met up with Zoe to go shopping for guns, she asked me what I wanted. ‘A classy Luger!’, I said. Of course, we didn’t find any and I ended up spending L$1500 on the Socom. But now she did find me one and it even shoots blueberry muffins! Now I’m not the kneeling type of meta-person, but Hienrich Krieghoff’s Luger pistol is _so_ impressive! It doesn’t come out that well in this picture, so if you want to take a good look at it, just drop by in-world and ask nicely and I’ll show it. If you don’t ask nicely, I’ll just use it to shoot you. ;)
And next to the Luger, there was the Lady of the Reich outfit. OMG! ‘Zoe, tell me to buy this!!’ where upon she replied: ‘Well, I did.’ Surely I did too. *grins* Our first life TOS is a bit tight where it comes to WWII uniforms, medals, … and other militaria and my first life budget is a tad to limited for buying a lot of them anyway, so I just couldn’t pass on on this SL opportunity. ^^
Now, first and foremore, this quote from Spotz Spork (SS’ items on SL Exchange), one of the founders of Das Waffenamt: ‘World War II is a major part of history that should not be ignored nor forgotten. I’ve worn various uniforms for nearly a year on SL and have not once gotten into any trouble for it, because I do not cause problems in them. A healthy dose of respect for the history behind them is a good thing to have.’
When Zoe and I TP’ed to this shop, I found out that the ‘BJ’s Flack Jacket’ I often wear is from Das Waffenamt too. Up until now, I’ve seen nothing but great clothing from them and I’m very very very impressed. It’s a shop I’ll often return to. If you’re interested in the Lady of the Reich costume: it’s L$500 but very much worth that, as it’s extremely well done and comes with boots, skin, shape, hair, gloves, panzer crusher/beret, an iron cross second class, eyes, jacket (a pity that wears as a tshirt, I would have loved it to be a jacket, so I could still wear my breast tattoo), pants and a small AO.

All work and no play? No way!
April 7, 2007 7:58 amWell, it’s not like my entire second life evolves around that ******* egg. So I dropped by at Little Philly to meet the nice version of Alexander Burgess, co-blogger Mygdala March, lovely-in-white-silks Vanny Richez, well-dressed Romana Wei and soon-to-be-silks-adept Sable. And I caged Torvalpac. *grins* (But had to be saved by Alexander in return.) I didn’t stay very long, but as I judge on looks, I’m sure they are all very nice persons! ;)
And another photograph of Zoe’s and mine ‘Girls with Guns’ shopping trip:

Tonight: Girls with Guns @Paradise Lost
April 4, 2007 8:25 am
Tonight (1pm PDT, yes, that’s European night) at the Paradise Lost: Girls With Guns Party! Knowing the girls, I think ‘Girls with just Guns’ would be more appropriate name, but still… :d The grid should be up again by then. (11 am PDT they say, let’s assume the grid will be up by 11.55 am PDT then.) Just wondering if we may load those guns with anything else but training bullets.
Nvm, got the date wrong. :( :( :( :(
Yesterday Loki was an obedient cute and helpful guinea pig and I can now state that the ‘trap’ function of my Socom-gun works. Can someone enlighten me on this topic though: how do you _actually_ sell someone to/at Gor? *big grin*
So see you tonight, and let’s do some *bang bang*? ;)
I was first referring to Nancy Sinatra’s ‘Bang Bang’ video here, but after giving that some thought, I figured this one to be a bit more appropriate:

GWG Target Practice
March 29, 2007 5:35 amGun frenzy! Gun frenzy! If you ever get tired of girls with guns, do tell. Until that day, I’m serving them to you for breakfast, lunch and dinner and as a before-bed-time-snack.
Dakota Buck - who we should all congratulate on making it into the SecondStyle magazine with her savvy prim-included shorts - dropped by at my new home to show off her beautiful self. If good and hawt company wasn’t enough, she told me she bought her own pair (that’s two!!!) of guns and some gun poses. Gun poses! I knew I forgot about something when buying my gun. :( Anyway, Dakota’s portrait is big enough to serve as a 1280*1024 desktop wallpaper, so get yours here (right click, save link as).
Being both new to the whole girls-with-gun thingie, we figured we could use some target practice. Neither of us has great building skills, but I do think the improvised shooting ranch looks nice. No? Hi there, Andro! How you’re feeling today? Had felt any mysterious pains tonight when you were asleep? *grins* Shooting Andro was fun, but I just couldn’t resit shooting ‘Kota too. ;)
And another lovely lady felt like showing off her guns: following in ‘Kota’s footsteps a copple of hours later was verry verry sexy fellow meta-blogger CodeBastard ‘Cody’ Redgrave, renown bodylotion-addict and owner of the CodeRed Lounge. She brought a whole arsenal along and even succeeded at shooting me with a spambullet. Blah! 15 seconds of ugly way-to-bright green spam! You’re evil, I say! Evil!
I’ll try to make some decent cutouts for target practice, but until then, feel free to shoot the giant Andro. Do try and make a good aim, because somewhere in the upper left corner of the Andro-texture there’s a Vint dangling on her dancing pole. ;)

SL Viewer 1.14.0: Global disaster
March 27, 2007 8:54 pm
As September, 11th of 2001 is better know as 09/11, I know declare March, 27th of 2007 to be 1.14.0.
Why? Tons of homeless Avies, or Avies that aren’t able to get in touch with their close relatives to check if they are in good health. Emergency services weren’t prepared, were uninformed and arrived on scene late and the whole thing could have been avoided if LL’s intelligence services had done a more thorough investigation.
Some avies lost all of their belongings and the SecondLife economy goes haywire as shop keepers can’t keep up with replacement and refund requests. Lot’s of male residents involved in 1.14.0 suffer from the Ruthing-syndrom, probably caused by post-traumatic stress after the install.
Residents are redrawing their deposited l$ en masse and some are even considering committing suicide as they just can’t handle the constant lag and buggyness anymore.
Shortly put: what the hell were they thinking?!! SecondLife’s a bitch sometimes for sure.
Kuddo’s for the lady at LiveHelp though. Kitty - her last name now slips my mind - was very patient with a ranting Vint and did the best she could in a very friendly and helpfull way. She even suggested installing the 1.14.0-viewer-of-death herself, but I said I could not ask that from her.

Flickr Gun Wars
10:22 amNow I’ve totally had it! First I had to find out about him cheating* on me on Flickr. And now he even thinks he’s some kind of hawt and sexy Andro Blond spy and is threatening me. I quote: ’some ladies here are playing with the fire, take care it could get very hot!!!’
So since yesterday, the decorative dagger is replaced with a SOCOM MK23 v1.1. Thank you, Zoe, for helping me pick out such a great gun. Killer laser beam for focussing, silencer, flashlight function for dark and evil places, … and a huge range of ammunition. Skills I’ve already mastered: drawing it, holstering it, modelling it. So just to make sure I don’t harm any innocent Avies, I’ve loaded it with training bullets. :D
Just look at both pictures and compare. Who looks like a pro hitmanwoman and who doesn’t? Now place your bets! ;)
And, ow! Look! I’m even dressed for the occasion! You can get the pink camo top for free on SLboutique. The ‘Girls With Guns’ T-shirt comes in a shirt, jacket and undershirt version.
* Technically speaking he can’t be cheating on me as we are not and never were involved. But we’ll just ignore that fact. *grins*
