I trust on the others to do some sort of report on this as I can’t remember all that happened, but I’ll share this: the rumour goes we’ll be having a hawt male neko stripper over next time. Thanks again to our great host Zoe, who is continiously doing a lot of effort to bring the SL blogosphere closer together!
I’ve highlighted in this picture: Veyron ran out of clothes to wear? Who was Sherperz? The blogpile! ;)
But, where were Shockwave, Myg and Alexander, Melissa, Codie, Bella, Dolmere, Gaynor,… and last but not least: Wrath?!
Vincent: the drama

Ok. I’ve been a bad girl. In stead of doing some stuff for Robbie I’ve spend way to much time with Vincent. *blushes* It started out as good fun when shopping for Neko ears and he was very good company, until we were about to say our goodbyes for the evening.
Somehow the words ‘Baghdad’, ‘patrolling’ and ’streets’ made my ears perk and accusing him of being just as arrogant as the nation he represents there. The only excuses I have for saying that is that 1.He actually was arrogant, 2. I can’t stand people lecturing me about WWII and 3. It was after a two hour discussion and being told about the USA’s supreme reign and the futility of European nations (a lot)². On top of that poor Wrath who was online too got the full load from me. Which by the way, he handled very well by often saying ‘Yes, Vint, you’re right’. ^^
Luckily nobody got shot that evening as we found out earlier that both my Luger and Socom were refusing all services in the Scheherazade sim and so did his gun (no pun intended) .
I _just_ don’t get it. I get along fine with Dralathan. And I <heart> a good discussion. But this one was just totally useless. I just wish that I would not have known about all this. That he was still just a hansom avie with a very good taste for clothing and guns, a gorgeous skin, awfully cute hair and soon neko ears too.
The next day we both apologized. We still IM. And we’ll probably still go and fetch those neko ears. And he even learned some Flemish words. But still. Dunno. :(

The AvaStar - Convention Center
Still, I find it a bit strange that the AvaStar is using a camera to depict what they do in SL.
The only link with their weekly magazine - which could use some more work still, where SL photography is concerned - that I can imagine is that the camera is a wink towards those RL paparazzi. And if that is what they mend to do, they forgot to put on a superzoom. ;)

If you feel like running around / sunbathing / skydiving / jetskying / whatever in our belgian tricolour, you can pick it up for free at SLBoutique, using the MetaMart HUD (great review of the third gen HUD, btw) at Zhivago hospital or in my skybox.

Hung out a bit with Veyron - who’s obviously to busy reading the Kamasutra for blogging, but did post some photo’s of Queen Vint -, Zoe - who didn’t blog about our trip or her date with Wrath, does that mean troubles in paradise?! - and Wrath - who then again is to busy dating Zoe to blog.
We went sight-seeing at Castle ‘Verloren’ (Dutch for ‘lost’) and did the maze, argued about the trone and discovered the royal bedroom, the royal pool and the royal hot tub.
Update: Wrath did post an interesting story to read with awesome pictures. :d
And after that some STD-testing with Veyron, Rejeanne and Josie. I quote: ‘Failure is testing too’. It’s seems it’s rather difficult to contract an STD whilst being seeted. :d
‘Lack-of-B’ sound & various encounters, travels and realisations from my 2nd life
April 28, 2007 6:54 pmMy ‘b’ was broken. And going alt+098 all the time is not really my style, thus I did one of the things I vouched I would never do:
When I returned home and wanted to work on the _actuall_ post, I decided upon fixing the ‘b’. At all cost. But I still find this lousy attempt at a podcast rather funny, so I added some sound effects… et voila! ;)
So, what’s new? Well, we now have signalisation at the hospital: reception, shop, cafetaria, room 1-8, teleporter, nurses classroom, OP1 and OP2 signs. I offered making a ‘elevator out of order’ sign too, but Hele promised it will work. Eventually. And thanks to the great Rejeanne Connoli, my STD’s coming on fine. :p
In the past few days I’ve had some problems with SLBoutique not listing the items I’ve added into my vendor in my seller’s account on their site, despite that I’ve tried everything: adding them again, adding them with different names, adding them with different permissions, resetting the scripts and even rezzing a new, second vendor. Which doesn’t list either. I went to help.slboutique.com to see how my ticket was doing, only to find that help was down. I now have a sellers account at SLExchange too. (Although I still prefer SLBoutique and hope they’ll respond to my ticket soon and things will get solved.)
A stranger abandoned his cat in my skybox. I’m rather sure it was not an accident, as the cute little animal looks like it’s carefuly positioned. I understand one would take a weekend off from SL with this fine weather, but I can’t understand people leaving their pets behind like this. :(
If anybody knows the owner, Woody Mills, please tell him to pick up his cat because - I’ve said so before - I am not willing to take responsability for a pet. Not even if it’s male and has cat’s ears. This cutie goes by the name of ‘Little Brown Cat’ and has lovely fur texture.
And if somebody else wants to adopt it, that’s fine by me too, but you have to figure out a way to take it home with you then. The poor, little, feline creature is still a bit afraid, I guess, as it doesn’t let me move it to a safer spot then on the stairs where everyone stumbles over it. :(
I’ve tagged along with Veyron to the Relay For Life Benefit Car Show where there were some great builds on display. An example: we’ve met this fine young man called ‘Vincent’ - sorry, last name slipped my mind, notecards and .txt files (edit: Vincent Serrurier) - who I think build the hawt car Veyron and I used as a background for the shoot. Well, he could open en close the doors. And insisted I’d include the car’s sexy butt in the snapshots. So I’m rather sure he has build it. Watch out for ‘Girls with Cars (and Guns)’ photographs on this blog during the following weeks! ;)
After Kilara Balnarring showed it to me, I’ve gotten myself a ‘Primfinder’ (from Crystal Gadgets). A very helpfull tool for building n00bs like me. It ensures a lot of ‘ow, yes I could do it that way so I need less prims’ moments and is also neat to browse through, just thinking about what you could do with all those lovely prims. How does the Primfinder work? You rezz the box it gives to you to the ground, click the prim you want on the Primfinder’s screen, et voila… the prim you chose is rezzed above the box, with you set as owner and creator. Neat! No? Everybody can get a primfinder-box from it and thus use it. If you want to try it out, feel free to drop by at my skybox where it’s set up. The route descriptin is still: take the teleporter at the Paradise Lost (slurl) terrace. Above the teleporter I have now put up a - pink - sign saying ‘VintLabs’ and with a huuuuge arrow pointing the right way upon it, as certain persons claimed it is hard to find.
Talking about building, there is so much still to learn for me and the Linden Gods are about to introduce something new and very exciting: Sculpted prims which I don’t understand anything about (yet), but I do think I’ve crossed another milestone in my Vint-learns-to-build-epos. Behold: the wrapping for my Paw’ed Neko Eyes. A bit primmy, I know, but still… it’s ok? No? If you don’t like them, blame it on Hele, as she has put the shelves in the hospital shop in the first place. If we still had the old rating system, someone would have voted my building rating 1 up so it would say ‘+3′ for this, no? :/

Sunbathing in SL
April 25, 2007 4:36 am… and in RL! I’m going for the ‘boiled lobster look’ (pictured below) by the time the laptop’s battery is dead. Btw: is there any way to add a texture to a face, whithout altering the skin’s face itself? If anybody wants the underpands and undershirt I’m wearing here, just let me know. :d
Ow! And Vint would not be Vint, as I was not planning on sunbathing on your desktop (at least, if it’s 1280*1024 beach).
Days of our 2nd lives…

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of my Secondlife… as I visit exhitibions and get stuck in blacklights, as I keep working on my ‘Green Medic’ outfit and try to master RezLoop (I quickly gave up on aligning prim skirt panels by hand), as I find out Dra has a partner on file by now (I am not jealous! At all!) and as I try to take Veyron’s good advice on getting my second web life organised (Yes, PortableApps, I know by now! Let me first tape that USB stick together again!) and as I keep cursing my lack of RAM. (But all that minus the drama!) :p
Not-a-meme #15: Rejeanne Cannoli, my New Friend

Actually, I add people to my friends list almost every day. Most of the time it’s just to make contacting them more easily (business cards don’t allow you to see if the avie is currently residing in-world) and for being able to TP them. But once in a while, I just _know_ I’m going to talk more often to that avie. Be it that he or she is interesting, kind and has a good sense of humor or an interesting take on ‘the SecondLife’. The lady added most recently to my friends list is such a person. May I present to you: the lovely and very talented Rejeanne Cannoli.
How did we meet?
She contact me in-world for taking her photograph. I wasn’t online at the time, so the first place I became aware of her existence, was in my inbox. ;)
What did we talk about up to now?
SL-photography, prim skirts, scripting, sexual transmittable diseases, living in a bi-lingual country and not speaking french that well. ;)
Will we meet again?
Yes, I really hope and think so! She sounded like a very interesting lady avatar that is very well-spoken and can actually teach me a thing or two about the SecondLife. Even if the ‘let’s exchange skills in stead of L$’ project does not go through, I’m sure we can still engage in good conversation.
And about my clothing in this picture, let me state one thing very clearly: I did not give up on being the Neko of the Reich and total SecondLife-world domination! I do am doing a lot of stuff involving the Hospital lately, and thus decided to dress a bit more appropriate before people will start to call me ‘Fraulein Mengele’.
