Hmm, they're smart: they selected a really desirable 1st prize (the 3D reproduction of your avatar) to give up pretty much all rights to their company.
Chances you will actually get that 3D model are of course small, but all entries still are "theirs" as soon as soon as you send it.
Question we need to ask ourselves: are we willing to spend time and effort in something, knowing we probably won't win the most interesting price, and wont benefit from ourselves, nor will our Avatars?
I think opinions will be diffirent for everybody, and the more unknown artist looking for a step in the spotlight will be eager to participate in this contest.

Lem had a really good point: it sucks they want our RL names instead of our SL names, cuz what Avatar will know what the RL name is behind a resident?
For those who have a signature or a logo to put on their works at least have the ability to refer the pic to the creating Avatar that way, but then again some are kinda cryptic (like my own) which isn't totally helpfull either.

Perhaps one could contact them and state that for RL purposes (like the RL art exhibition and sending the prize) the RL name will be used, but for SL purposes (in-world displaying) the SL name will be used (and perhaps they can put the SL name under our RL name in the RL art exhibition).

Geez, the legal conditions they have for a stupid contest where the top prize is a reproduction of one's own picture, worth 150 euros! Not mentioning that you have to reveal your RL identity. Well, at least it seems that you don't have to give away your SL identity so they are not matched to each other. But if I cared about building a reputation for my pics it would be using only my SL identity.

I think their marketing department is completely out of touch with the spirit of SL. They don't seem to get it. I'm curious to see what's going to come out of this.
