It’s Burning Man. I think you get a “pass” to look as outré as you like. Even if it’s cybergeek outré. Besides, I think he looks kinda hot. And strangely, a little like Sting!

Okay, that picture just cracks me up! And besides we can’t rate his hotness until we know whether or not he’s a fan of Autechre.

Nothing strange at all, if you remember what Philip said in some interview, that Second Life was created to replicate the mood and feel of Burning Man Festival in virtual ….So i’m happy to see that he’s still loyal to his principles ! Long Life and prosper!

Cristian, You probably missed the most recent interviews with M Linden, where Second Life is being tailored into a ‘business solution’. Not sure how keen businesses are on the whole burning man atmosphere, ethics, and so forth. Let alone that this _is_ a nipple in what one could consider a PG area! ;)

As Myg suggested, postponing ‘judgement’ until we know if ‘Phil’ likes Autechre or not.
