To meet them halfway I basically make it clear up front that I'm not a First Life human, and that they shouldn't make assumptions. All information I give out is SL information. They're free to do what they want with that fact. So when im asked if i do i always say no. Its not that im ashamed of my kids or anything. Its just we work so hard on teaching our kids not to give out personal information and then you run into parents who tell you all about their kids. Plus i would hate to think something i said or did jeopardized my kids. I couldn't live with myself. So yep I lie like a rug when it comes to that topic. I have kids. Well there exist four persons that know more, like my alt. Why, I was not sure on what life was going to be when I joined, I ended up exploring the life of an escort. Many nice and good experience and change my world view. I'm however very scared that that knowledge would hurt my RL life getting out, the fewer that know the less chance. I will tell anyone who asks (and quite a few who didn't) what timezone I am in, mainly because many people forget there are places outside of the US & UK who are in SL.
