3jLife - now this is how the Chinese get in Second Life? - does not only provide Second Life accounts, an L$ exchange service and a Chinese SL community, no together with 3immersions, an SL developing company, they also offer to teach you Mandarin Chinese using Second Life as a virtual classroom. The classes take place in-world on regular times and class notes are even provided if you would - wish to, or be obliged to - skip a lesson.
If I wanted to attempt learning Chinese, this would be great. As for now, I’m just glad they don’t teach English. ;)

Great find.
I anticipate more groups that offer free language lessons will spring up as time progresses.
Although, I do hope they have adequate english skills…or at least spellcheck. :)
Haha! It’s incredible, everything can be found in SL, now learning chinese!
