That’s MY butt, I say!
*insert random very much infuriated name calling here* Somebody - be it Kenzie (Kenzi?) Aenon or Lindsey Daviau - is posing off as being me. Calling the ‘butterfly’ photograph I took her own and displaying MY cute pixelated butt - not as cute as Veyron’s, but still cute - as her own.
Anybody else’s butt out there?
Kittie Lalonde pointed this ‘Girl of Many Faces’ blogpost out to me, which gives more information on Kimiko Nakamuro / Lindsey Daviau / whomever the *insert female name calling word* might be. In the comments ‘Moire G.’ points to a former Flickr stream of Lindsay Daviau / Kenzi Aenon that was revived with some Second Life photography, all probably not hers. I know about one for sure - my butterfly cute nude butt - and think to recognise the styles of ‘another weird photograph’, ‘depressing somehow’ and [Kenzie].
The ***** ‘borrowed’ at least two pictures from Torrid Midnight too.
Lindsay Daviau’s - 2nd - life story
Apparently, it isn’t the first time she pulled something like this, and she hasn’t been all that of a example Second Life Citizen either: a lof of messing up people’s second lifes on her account, it seems. Lying about RL data of other avatars and the like.
The girl has followed Aradia to places where her SL children hang out, pretending to be adoptable. She has IM’d Aradia screaming that Lucian is her real husband and that Aradia is a (insert various sexually demeaning names here). She has followed Sophia Gray and Mariya around countless times. Now she’s moved on to Violet, posing as her in SL and RL. She tries to get into various closed groups to gain access to their chat longs, uses her alts to pose as friends, even claiming that she IS an alt of the person she is stalking and attempts to get in good with the friends of the stalked.

How to report stolen content on Flickr?
I would the photograph on Flickr as stolen, but - just as with SL - she’ll probably get another account? :( As far as I know she hasn’t done anything wrong towards me in-world, so no abuse report. Although I was temped, I could not think of any good reason against Second Life ToS or Community Guidelines to AR her. :(
As for Yahoo’s Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy that Flickr links too, it says they need ‘an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property interest‘ and attachements are not allowed. So snailmail _is_ the only option here?! Or am I missing something here?

Although it’s just as despicable in RL, doing this in the virtual world almost doesn’t make sense. You can make yourself look however you want! Granted, good SL photography *does* take skill, so that’s a different story. I hope this person gets what’s coming, Vint =P

I saw this earlier today while I was sitting in Chicago-Midway airport, and I was like…. WHOA! That’s VINT’S PICTURE!!! Sorry I didn’t get the chance to say something then. Dude, I hope you tear into her. That’s bullshit.
Ryker, it’s ok, somebody notified me, so it’s all good. Although, knowing and not being able to do something… Well, those others girls suffered from her insanity, having their Second Lifes being thrown upside down. Compared to that, for me, this was just an ‘annoyance’.
Teagan, I will do so, if I would notice she’d be causing trouble there. Which I would probably not be the first to notice, as I do not spend enough time on SLprofiles lately. But sure if anybody that has read this comes across this girl, they will warn the others involved. (Or at least, so I hope.)
I just got wind of this and was surprised that after so many hours of someone first noticing the stolen content, this profile is still up…..
I know flickr has admin monitors on a regular basis as they are quick to put public profiles on censor if the content isn’t appropriate. And so, action to censor or suspend accounts should be just as swift.
And I think that as a community, whenever we find content used without the artist’s permission, we should all (not just the artist) file complaints about it (to flickr admins in this case) because issues seem to get much more attention when a ‘voice in quantity’ shouts out.
And although this isn’t the first such incident, let’s make it the example for flickr to be aware of and stay on top of in the future.

i went though her alts list there that you posted. Teagan Zabaleta has a blog, recently posted to, has some links on her profile, blog, flicker account that doens’t seem to exist, a youtube account, and a gmail address. also has a photo on the profile but i looks alot like the girl who runs cake…
Kimiko Nakamura appears as a blank profile as well as angel slade.
Lindsey Daviau shows up as a normal looking account, most likely with a stolen photo, married to teagan zabaleta, but badly spoofed because from the structure of the profiles, you can tell they are the same person. also has links to blog, flicker, and an email address (the email being pretty stupid since it’s got Angelaa Slade in it which is another alt there on the list.)
omg their picks are hilarious too.. LOL lindsay lists Ambyance2 Anderton as one of her family…

i did some real life freelance modeling a while back and i am pretty familar with this kind of crap in that line of work. you take photos, you put your portfolio online, 2 days later, a little 15 year old is using your photos to lure older men. i’m not sure what purpose it gives on sl, since you can be what ever you want to be, why be a theif?

I enjoy taking pictures in SL. I try very hard to get decent ones. Recently, a picture that I had posted on Flickr showed up the next day on someone else’s page without any attribution. (There is now even a comment posted from someone saying “This is a fantastic photo!”) The person using the photo is someone that I know and I am too much of a whimp to ask for attribution. I tell myself that it really doesn’t matter. If it weren’t for someone else’s SL content, I wouldn’t have even had the subject to snap, but I still can’t help but feel a little ripped-off though. *sighs*
She took my photograph and one of Torrid Midnight down from the Flickr stream. But the others are still there…
Ow, btw, why doesn’t Flickr do this:
When reported and proven, take down the ’stolen’ photograph, artwork, illustration, … and replace it with a texture saying ‘thief’ in huge red letters. Then make sure the user can’t delete or change that picture. :D
Molly, do ask. If she knows you, she could have act… and if one way or another it was a genuine mistake that happened - although if you find a picture on Flickr, the either copyright or CC rules are clear, but maybe she forgot to add the attribution and did she or he mean to do so anyway - (s)he can rectify it?
I know I tend to react fiercely when such stuff happens to me, but I do send out mails to the ‘infringing’ persons too, most of the time giving them some time to
crawl before merespond before I lose my temper. If she’s someone you know - especially if it’s a friend - do ask him or her about it, it might even be the person does not realise this is ‘wrong’/'theft’?I think it’s pretty crazy of someone to claim to steal the virtual identity or image of another person.
I think it’s even more crazy to get flustered over it.
At first this story seemed in a kind of twisted funny way interesting to me.. Why would someone go through that lot of trouble, managing that many alts, impersonating, “borrowing” other peoples work..
What is his/her drive? A lack of self-esteem, a desperate call for attention?? A troubled mind who really needs professional help??
One moment I was even thinking: why not direct her to our friend PN?? Let one b***h annoy the other one.. :-)
But, after reading the above mentioned “Girl with many faces” blogpost, it seems to me that something more disturbing is going on..
Maybe this Lindsay Daviau, or whatever her name is, is really sick, but besides the classic signs of annoying griefing, I see signs of a scam. Not only just impersonating the victim, but even a (attempt at) a real take over of av’s accounts.. gaining access to CC information..
So girls and boys, if you are in her sight, and especially if you have RL or payment information ready to grasp, better beware… and not only about your reputation..

The ‘girl of many faces’ blog post was a tad overdramatic, but, yes, this person does seem to be fairly useless.
What does the (possible) next to the names do or mean? If those people are not one of Lindseys alternates then how would they be able to prove themselves?

Lindsey Daviau is known in the fashion industry very well as an infamous shape stealer. She has stolen shapes, made alt’s pretending to be someone who she isn’t. She’s impersonated many models, and fashion icons.

The Problem here is that my friend, Foxy Jubilee( I have permission to use her name), is being treated unfairly due to the actions of Lindsay Daviau. Foxy was on Lindsay’s “Picks” Because they both were once friends, both owners of shops in the same mall. Foxy, as well as I, did not know of Lindsey’s actions. We did think that Lindsay was a bit tempermental, but nothing more. Today, Foxy came to me heartbroken and told me to “GOOGLE” Lindsay Daviau. Under the website of :

Foxy Jubilee and I (Allison Messmer), are trying hard to find someway to get a conversation between Foxy and Lindsay,so we can show the fashion world that Foxy is innocent.
Sadly, Foxy Jubilee has been fired from her modeling job because of the websites listed above. The Boss will not even talk to her, and she has been unfairly banned from her favorite stores.

I personally think that people are treating her unjustly on no evidence, just because the girl is under Lindsay’s picks.

It does not. It just says that they MIGHT be alts. Which means, don’t take for granted that this is an alt. Do some thinking yourself, and don’t act before you did.
An example: I tell you it is possible that I will give everybody who gives me 1k Lindens this week a 100% return on invest and thus 2k Lindens next week. Would it be wise to invest with me?

Revisiting this topic, as it’s hilarious. Voice really doesn’t prove anything, my aunt has an extremely husky old woman voice, and is frequently thought to be a man on the phone!
Also, it sounds like you need to amplify your mic, a usb solution could work, or a powered headset mic if you don’t want to buy an amplifier (a decent one for this application is about 140 USD).
The way a microphone generally works on a headset is it is either unpowered, or uses 3 cables for stereo (or relative comparison through USB, easier to amplify this way as well). Left, right, and a +5v bias to power the mic. I have a shure pg58 and have had to do the same thing, since it’s a simple cardioid mic. I managed to get my hands on a tascam US-144 for 107 USD, but they’re generally around 200+.
Indeed. How on earth could voice prove identity as you do not have a voice to compare with. And, as you say, even then…
