For me, yes I can translate these notifications into japanese, but I didn’t. Because it shouldn’t be done by residents nor Mentors. ya it should be done by LindenLab. And if translation provided, it should provided under “for refference. See English texts for your business and important dicision.” status.

But I feel I did mistake. Your demonstration show me that I’d better do something more to appeal.

Did they specify which legal issues? Really, if they are charging us our countries’ VAT, you would assume they also offer us our countries’ languages!

i asked Chiyo Linden that Linden Lab has a plan to offer Japanese translation of their blogpost or not.

She said they have a plan, but don’t know when they can because it contains some legal problems.

They simply don’t see it coming.

A lot of us are not individuals but companies, or we work for or represent companies. We have invested considerable amounts of time and money, and we are using SL both for business (RL and SL: for example, I work for a RL educator company) and for fun. The price increase, of course, will make us reconsider our investment in SL and look for alternatives. But this will not happen all of a sudden; this simply would not be reasonable; we need time to carefully plan our shrinkage, time to explore and ponder the alternatives, time to elaborate our farewell to our nice sims, now condemned by the Linden’s abuse. After this time will have passed, we will slowly begin to drop our sims. Not today, maybe tomorrow or after tomorrow. Many of us have 6-months or 12-months paid-in-advance sims; we can take some time in implementing an ordered shrinkage instead of a hurried disband; after all, in some cases we need to relocate our stuff to the surviving sims.

Between me and my employers we will transition from 9 sims to 3 during the following months. We have not still dropped one single sim, but we will.

They simply don’t see it coming.
