Pocket Pfeffer’s first with the PrimSkirtBuilder

Pocked Pfeffer with skirt by primskirtbuilderPocked Pfeffer shows her first creation with the PrimSkirtBuilder on her blog ‘Pocket Pfeffer’s Second Life’ and Flickr and now she aks:

The one thing that still drives me crazy is making a kinda ‘blouse’ type shirt. I can never get the sleeves right, straight edges etc. So Vint & Dalien, why not put your very intellegent heads together and come up with a PrimBlouseBuilder??? PLEASE!

Well, because you ask that nicely. ;) If only I had the slightest clue what a ‘blouse’ type shirt is? For the sleeves: use hollow cones or cylinders? Or instead of hollow, just texture ‘the outer sides’ with an alpha layer? That’s just my 0.02 L$. Or is it that you have problems with the shirt template? *scratches ears* Maybe you have a picture example to show what you exactly mean?

Hi again Vint..

You’ll have to excuse my vaugeness….. most of the trouble I’m having is with the template, as in getting the sleeve edges to align. I’m fairly new to the ‘clothing creation’ experience, but I’m sure that I’ll just pick it up as I go along. By the way, never even thought of using prims for sleeves…..yet another task that I’ll undertake later when I log in…. What I have done is to use the PrimSkirtBuilder, to make lacy cuffs for sleeves….I’ve a post on Virtual Dublin, in which I’m wearing them, I’ve also used it to make some flared cuffs for trousers. I’t’s a versatile tool!

Thanks for checking it out.

Pocket

As for the sleeves, are you using Chip Midnight’s templates? I found them quite clear on showing where you should ‘connect’. Good thinking on the cuffs. I didn’t even think of using it for that purpose. =)

Hey there Vint,

Been going crazy with the PrimSkirtBuilder……love, love, love it… I’ve also been trying to create some ‘prim sleeves’ but I’m afraid they will stay in the ‘WTF is that’ category..lol
