Yup, thats the same Praga Khan… Ooooh, I am OFFICIALLY excited now!!! I’ve been playing a few Praga Khan tracks in my more trance orientated sets recently and listening to a LOT of Lords of Acid stuff too…

Update: found a promo interview - in Dutch - with Maurice Engelen about Frame by Frame: where art meets technology. If somebody feels an English transcription is needed, let me know. (Amanda, is that your guy? ;)) It has some nicer footage of the use of the Moven suit in combination with dance. Also found a very nice movie clip that was a collaboration between Praga Khan / Maurice Engelen and the Ballet of Flanders. (We have a ballet? *grins*) Song title: Key of the Kingdom. (And somehow this song so reminds me of the Mortal Combat theme song. :d)

Amanda, I guess it is that Praga Khan? I know only one… =) First huge hits: injected with a poison & rave alarm. Later ones: Breakfast in Vegas, Lonely (!!!), and as Wrath mentioned, the kick ass song: Luv U Still. And you even may confuse it a little with Lords of Acid, as Maurice Engelen was a member of that band too.

You would think if they were going to use SL footage, they’d make sure to get a better framerate to begin with - it is possible - especially if the video is going to be enlarged for public viewing, etc. And filming with a camcorder instead of screencapture, very low-tech, lol. At least they could’ve removed the avatar name titles from the screen…. Maybe the final product will look much different?

Anyway, this article reminded me I haven’t listened to “Luv U Still” in ages, so I had to go dig it out and give it a spin - ahhhhh, such a cool tune. :-)

I’m guessing that they videod the SL footage because it looks like they had loads of lag (looks like about 3 frames/second) - the dancers are really jerky - and using screencapture would have slowed things down even more - it’s why I don’t make machinima - tried it and just can’t get a decent framerate on my poor old computer.

And yes, they should have used some of my giant flowers!
I have the power of the flower!
