Excellent video - and very instructive too. It shows how useful having a prior plan/blueprint to work from can help. Also, how you can “trade prims for textures.” In the case of the windows and the parking lines most notiably, he used prims to create the objects rather than creating complex textures - which would have taken him longer to do properly, but would have saved on prim count - probably substantially.

Also, the windows as done by him are not transparent and there is no internal structure to the buildings, helping him to get it done quicker. But watching how he put it together has given me ideas on how to better build some things I’ve been planning.

Wow, that was impressive - and massive amounts of work! So far, I’m just content to leave the building stuff to people like Tiessa, who look far better while doing it than I would, anyway.
