Google Earth Blog: Ultra High Resolution Paintings in Google Earth - Although this won’t give you the feeling of actually walking around in the Prado, and there are no avatars, thus fellow visitors, you do get a high resolution quality for the paintings, something that’s impossible using a 1024×1024 texture (of course, we could use multiple 1024×1024 textures/painting?) Still, not taking the Prado of my “have to see this in reality” to do list yet. ;)
