Second Life web resources for June 11th 2007
June 11, 2007 4:30 pm- cbs5.com - Pentagon Confirms It Sought To Build A ‘Gay Bomb’ - FL news. But so LMAO times fourhundredfiftyseven.
- Daltonic Gin: DeliHUD 2-week public beta starting NOW! - What is it: it is an in-world interface to del.icio.us, to retrieve and visit the SLURLs that you would pick up on blogs and other out-of-world sources.
- SL Mascot: SLeek is fixed! and improved - Team Mascot gives us good news: Well, following my last blog entry bemoaning the fact that SLeek had been broken by the recent changes to SecondLife, I am pleased to say that the latest version has fixed the problems and is better than ever!
- The Second Life Grid Grind - So you can’t even say you’re NOT a casino - Various land descriptions and other stuff removed. Even from people not trespassing on the ‘advertising laws’. Promises to update when he gets an response from LL. I think we don’t need to hope to much on that update.
- Second Life Tutorials! - Hmmm. An SLtutorials gathering site. Neat idea. And probably more user friendly then the knowledge base. In which category do ’snapshots’ go?

This is one of the sickest stories I’ve ever heard. Now the Washington Post has found a source that confirms the US Marine Corps used the “gay bomb” in a marketing promotion CD-Rom as late as 2002. What’s most disgusting is that they actually thought being gay would make the enemies worse soldiers. Shows what the Pentagon thinks about homosexuality.
What happens if you’re already gay? Oh wait, there’s no gays in the military, I forgot. *rolls eyes*
Thanks for mentioning Sleek again, had nearly forgotten to re-check that site. Now I finally had a chance to test it and it’s great!
I was just wondering what my avie does while I can’t see him ;)
In answer to Timothy Liliehook - regarding SLeek and what his avatar does when he can’t see him….. take a look at some of my blog entries… about using SLeek and also wondering where to “park” your avatar when you log off…. after all, you can’t always be there to control it!
