  1. Ruben R. Puentedura’s Weblog: A Cheatsheet for Second Life - A good overview of keyboard shortcuts for everyday use in SL. Especially those for communicating will save me lots of mouse movement in the future. ;)
  2. BDSM blossoms in Second Life | The Register - Just to have something to read until Tiessa’s next update.
  3. Behavioral Targeting Comes to Second Life | Metaversed - A bit scary.
  4. PERSONALIZE MEDIA - The Brand Owners Guide to Joining the Metaverse - ‘The brands owners guide to joining the metaversa or thirteen non-exhaustive tips for organisations considering becoming stars in the new web 3.0 revolution.’ It’s good to see someone write about what they _should_ do, in stead of what they shouldn’t do.
  5. Avimator: Second Life Avatar Animation Editor - Free animation/pose creator for SecondLife. Avimator is an easy-to-use, open source tool for creating and editing avatar animations for Second Life. It is a free alternative to Poser and Maya, and it runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. (More recent: QAvimator)
  6. QAvimator - Free animation/pose creator for SecondLife - Free animation/pose creator for SecondLife. QAvimator is a bvh animation editor, created for use in the 3D metaverse Second Life. The project is still in early alpha stage and may or may not work on your system.
  7. The Ogoglio Project - Another platform for creating 3D-worlds.
  8. Inside Second Life’s Data Centers (informationweek.com) - An interesting article on how LL’s datacenters _actually_ work and how they are planning to cope with SL’s explosive growth (co-branded Second Life areas).
