Second Life’s Woodstock
July 25, 2007 8:03 am
On the 16th of August 2007 Woodstock Second Life will take place.
I’m curious how it will compare to SecondFest. Where the SecondFest was Intel ft. The Guardian (or the Guardian ft. Intel), the Woodstock festival will be organised by long time residents Hope Clary, Crap Mariner - who stills owns me an explanation for an undeserved ‘Miss Furzi 2007′ title -, Stuart Warf, Dario Darrow and William Pitre.
Although the SecondFest festival was not bad, I hope for Woodstock Second Life to be more ‘Second Livish’: less clean - c’mon, the toilets at SecondFest were just not convincing festival toilets - and more fun. As a Woodstock - be it analog or digital - should be. Ow, and less technical problems and more lag. Less newbs and more interesting particles. Less RL press coverage, more SL press coverage. Etc.
SL Artists that have already confirmed are the PA SL Band, Sebastian Jacks, Grateful Stryker and Spence Wilder (David Spencer). More tba. Any chance of seeing Dolmere or Dalien performing there?

That sounds like fun!
Unfortunately, I’ll be on holiday. :(
Love the poster tho’.
If they’d like to play SL Woodstock, they’re more than welcome to write Hope Clary. She’s organizing the acts.
We’re limited somewhat on acts because of how much the sponsors are providing, but if we round up more sponsors and booths and such, it’s getting plowed back into the performers.
