I snapshotted a lot of people that came to visit me at SL4B. Here are some of the photographs. =)
I also remember seeing a photograph on Flickr from a lady that said she just gave up on SL4B and would tear her whole build down again because of the unbearable lag at the SL4B sims. Does anybody remember which lady / photograph that was?
Warning: I just ‘rediscovered’ that folder, so you may expect more of these pictures in the near future and maybe a review of what I liked and disliked about Second Life’s 4th Birthday event.
They already started planning the 5th, so mentioning what could be done better might not be such a bad idea. SignPostMarvin said that he did not receive much reviews for SL4B when he called for them by group notice - I missed that notice too - so, what were the first - and second - impressions?

Personally, I had no problems at SL4B at all. I went over on the Sunday and spent hours wandering around, mostly looking at the art ghettos and the sculpture. The only reason I didn’t see everything was because I ran out of time. Still sad I never made it back :-( I know lots of people had serious problems with lag - maybe I just hit a lucky time, though there were plenty of people around. I had just upgraded my PC, which helped - this was a good test of how much difference it made. Before the upgrade, I wouldn’t have dared going anywhere so busy!
Btw, one of my favourite pics I took is of me looking ‘broadly offended’ at your display, Vint! Thanks for the giggle :-)

Are you thinking of Nebulosus Severine?
I also had some lag issues there, but it was bearable. Sadly, I got there on the last day only and didn’t get to see everything. But I had the chance to meet the lovely Codebastard in person and check out the “Met A Stranger” booth as well as your broadly offensive display (see pictures on Flickr) ;-)
OK, hate to post again, but try out these URLs to see if any are the pic you’re thinking of:

Chloe, you indeed found them all. Thanks!
I love how I’m pointing in one direction in your pic, but looking the other. The caption would be “Psst… Vint…. is that what I’m supposed to be offended by?”
Héhé. Indeed. Myg did play it more convincing! ;)
My problem was to load up pictures for sl4b, it wasn´t mostly possible in the european evening, so I managed it in the morning. To enjoy the exhibition was also easier in the morning.
btw, Vint, your pictures are in the SL-showcase at the moment, you will earn a lot of views I think, one of my pics got more than 27000 views in about 4 weeks! When my other pics will be pushed out of the showcase I will have a look in my shoebox again ;-p
So let’s play ‘who got the biggest shoe box’? State thy disk space occupied by SL4B pictures! ;)
you are beutiful!!
