SL Fashion alert : Demo is the new Bare Rose!

December 7, 2007 1:26 am

Really, after seeing Andro like this on the A Different Light SL photography exhibition opening, I can’t help but think - and hope - that ‘Demo’ will become the next best fashion thing in Second Life.

Let’s throw out the skins that cost thousands of dollars, let’s celebrate badly done seaming, let’s dig into our inventories and wear stuff from when we were young, let’s go out shopping at discount. Because, hell, who needs perfection anyway as imperfection looks this neat!

oh vint, it’s already on it’s way!
those CAMPERS were the first to run around like this - our “blog style-police in duty” makemea writer posted it a few weeks ago…

…so it is a movement from the poor, underprivileged, hanging around asking for a few lindens - it is PUNK OF SECOND LIFE to sit there in a demo skin!

you’re right, we should do it all!

Yeah but…people shot down my idea for a newbie-themed blogger party a few months ago =P

Tobie, when will you and Zoe be hosting? ;) And you know, most great fashion things start underground, so I guess popular majority shooting it down first, is something inevitable!

Aren’t all the blogger parties already scooped up by various people for the next few months?

Otherwise, Chloe and I would be delighted to host a party.

I don’t know. You ought to check with Zoe for that information. And don’t worry, all real good fashion hypes take a while to kick in! ;)
