SLelections: last campaigning dayJune 30, 2007 9:48 am
As the Concerned Residents forgot to write down a minimum age for running for SL Governor, Smiley Barry is our last-minute candidate representing the Teen Grid: ‘Second Life is so buggy lately, lagy, full of abuse issues, spam, and it seems the only ‘right’ grid is the Teen Grid… Teen Grid to the rescue! Vote Teen!’ I wonder if they come to our rescue, may we keep our Mature playgrounds? And what is Candidate Barry’s take on the Gorean sims, for example?

One Response to “SLelections: last campaigning day”
very satisfied with the momentary state of the election campaign, i have to say that most of the things i proposed for the time of my regency are already perceptible in everyday second life:
- lag is a widely tolerated phenomenon.
- delayed busses are becoming just normal, the more lines i serve.
- realizing that one’s friends are online, takes hours since friends list is behaving strangely.
- all new “issues” are appearing, providing you with lots of moments of quiet watching your screen and waiting.
- and on top of that all it seems that the voting machines, that one member of my team smuggled in from florida will not be set up early enough to allow all residents to vote! so the majority of SLers will vote far later than july1st…
a BIG success in my fight for a slower and more philiposophic second life!
i thank linden lab and all my secondtravel-bus-hostesses for their ongoing efforts to make this place, second life, so great!
meet me anytime - i am late.
