<description>I'm using the TrafficMeter from Dirty at my shop in Caso Milo. It works pretty well and it's totally free. It produces counts of visitors by age. I've used the data to make a graph of the ages of my visitors that you can see on my blog for some analysis and a SLURL to pick it up (http://www.secondeffects.com/2007/10/my-customers-are-getting-old.html) With the TrafficMeter, you don't need to install any software of your own since it uses a free server elsewhere.

For lists of visitor names, I also use a modified freebie script. It tracks names of visitors (as long as they stay long enough to be caught in the periodic sensor sweeps.) A modification I put in calculates the average daily visitor rate as well. Give me a shout if you want a copy!
