A paid-for blog is when a company pays you to design and build sims, but you also blog as part of “generating the buzz”. They sustain you in your blogging. If you had diversified sources of income, it might be a different story. But…I don’t think that’s the story here!

No, a paid-for blog is when a company pays you to design and build a blog and to keep sustaining it with blog posts. Not if you get in on a SL project, like it, and decide to blog about it. I’ve mentioned both Veyron Supercharge, Zoe Connolly, the Paradise Lost, Dalien Talbot, the Primskirtbuilder, … more often than Rezzable. As I said to you numerous times before, Rezzable does not sustain my blog, and it’s RL work that sustains the hosting of this blog, Smiley Barry’s wiki, and such. Neither did I start this blog with the idea Rezzable in mind because I never even heard of RaR at that point in time. =) As it comes to a diversified income from Second Life, at least two SL designers each have given me more L$ than Rezzable. I’ve sold stuff for more money than Rezzable pays me, and I’ve received more tips for dancing and snapshot/SL photography help than Rezzable ever payed me. So, as I’ve told you before, this is not a Rezzable corporate blog. Will you know correct the lie you put knowingly on your blog?

I’d like to know a) what company is paying for all those sims, who they are and b) whether they are paying their builders on time or defaulting on their invoices, which is what we’ve been hearing on the Herald.

Well, i suggest then that you IM the people leading Rezzable. Or mail them. Or give them a phone call. If they will ever choose to not pay me or at the the end of the exhibition refuse the artists their cut, I’m sure you will be able to read it on vintfalken.com. But I don’t see how telling lies about the nature of a person’s blog will get you any closer to getting an answer to those questions.

(Yeah, I know, Veronique, Vint is a bad girl by answering Prok. But I’ve put a lot of time in this blog, the tutorials, … and then seeing it say it is a Rezzable corporate blog, … well, I know her arguments are unfunded and she’s just ranting her own imaginabable truth, but still…)

Personally i don’t care how Rezzable make there bills, apparently they do else LL would have talked there sims away. But talk to some of the bosses of thye company if you like to know. They have a RL phone on there homepage, I don’t know if they are public company if they are that you should be able to get information from them.

Or I’m not interested in working for them, I’m hosting at one, club and managing an other, that way to much already. Finding time for photoshots, roleplaying, building and friends is a big problem with out working for them is already hard.

Dark Moon I’m sure it’s the first time i tell about in this reply. But while I’m at it we need dancers for dark moon IM me for more info, also Carnage needs staff, most urgent hosts…. I have to make good for my salary *giggle*

Yes.

I have nothing a priori against this company, but it’s one of many metaversal building companies, and the consumers have the right to criticize it as they wish. I find some of it too much push media and static and contrived, as I’ve said in reviews, and other pieces I think are innovative and interactive.

So what you saying now, is that all that are employed in SL and blog about SL is subsided but there SL employer? Because we all generates the buzz about SL. We all by bloging make sure that there is a constant flow of people finding SL.

What do you have against Rezzable? They have collected a bunch of really talented people and make them work together towards a common goal. I think there are at least two things they made that Vint have not mentioned at all. I think she is quite neutral, she definitely writes less positive than me *giggle* And i can assure you not a single linden have come from that company to me. I know RightAsRain a little from flickr but thats all, the only time he talks to me is when he likes to get some publicity and gives me a LM, happened twice now.

As I’m employed, and not retired, that wouldn’t be a category I’d be in, hon. But my employment, in RL and SL, is unrelated to my blog. Of course, I’m happy to be proven wrong, when you criticize something of Rezzable’s and stop blotting out any criticism of them : )

And Melissa, no, you get that wrong. Both are subsided by their respective governements, so that are Corporate Governement blogs.

The FL bosses will be so happy they can now say their company has a Second Life presence and a corporate blog. After all, I work my RL ass of to pay for the hosting of this blog. =d

Veronique, thanks. I know… but this was not just acting difficult, but a blatant lie, she knows well enough, about the nature of my blog posted on hers. So I’m _rather_ annoyed. As for the ‘fuck you’… well, it’s probably better she phrases it that way in stead of writing yet another 5 paragraphs. I think she’s starting to get considerate towards my Db. :mrgreen:

(I really should implement the usage of :mrgreen: into the blog, don’t you think? I need it far to often lately.)

And Nadine, I’ll give you the same I gave to Prok. IM me in-world if you want them trans or copy. =)

I wish I would have been as lucky as Neva, to get one of Vint’s nice items. As for being male looking her over it, even and transgeneder you might have fun to go on a transgeneder party looking as a girl.

I had so fun on parties with males in female clothes, thats always a party start. Lighten up and have fun. Stop seeing the works so black, it’s supposed to be fun for gods sake!
