I never ether liked snapzilla, I think the big difference are the lever of the images added to snapzilla and flickr. Or I'm just lucky to find good images at flickr and none at snapzilla.

Grrrls with guns :^) No that doesn't give many views http://www.flickr.com/photos/42737673@N00/378269015/
But on the other hand that wasn't one of my better images.

Wrath, I said 'be original'. To decide what is original is up to you! ;)

I think it would look neat of you could photograph it that way that it resembles the view you had in first person shooters like quake and others. So yes, from the back with the two guns up. (The picture I have in mind would be to close to show the leather pants, but go ahead, I'll ask her to pose for my idea later? ;))

And will it hurt your ego when I say the article isn't completely about you? ;)

Uh, Vint, regarding your Be Original tip... does this mean I shouldn't ask Zoe to get some shots from behind herself when she is holding a machine gun in each hand and wearing those leather pants?

Sometimes, seeing the avie from behind is still a good thing, right, I hope? ;-)

PS - Please feel free to skip over any pictures I might ever post, considering they likely break every guideline you suggest.

Wait a minute! OMG you wrote this article about me, didn't you??? ack! Sorry. hehe

Nadine, you are right about the timing, but I don't see how we could control that. It's impossible to know how many pictures will be posted after yours and when. (Except maybe for Marquez, as he's God after all.)

The only solution to that would be to redraw your picture from the pool, and then to submit it again, but that's not something I encourage. Besides, this would be way less fun without the 'luck' factor. ;)

Snapzilla is a wannabe SL-flickr, but I don't like it. At all. :d So I just stick to complaining about Flickr and getting my hopes up high we'll get a seperate devision, or as Torley said somewhere on the Flickr forums: 'We just have to make sure that we'll shoot the best screenshots!'

Many great tips in here, the tagging I haven't given any thought yet.

Personally I have huge problems with deciding where the limits for PG and what groups to add images to. Maybe there is need of a slflickr.com, so we can share just out beautiful images.

I have seen one more think that important i think, timing, when you publish your image to the second life pool especially. If you add it to second life pool a minute before some other adds 30 boring images, you will get much less view that if you add and stay on the front row for a couple of hours.

No, Vint, what I was trying to say is, that the learning process is not ending. When we started with SL, well, that was one thing, then learning the post processing with other programs that we used to, then we had to post our pictures to "flickr", and learn about this site, while we started SL just for the fun of it. And it still is. And worthwile too.
If we did not had blogs like this one, I can not imagine how we could learn all this on a short notice. I am grateful.;D
