Very nice! I’ve done some prints of my SL photography on our digital offset press at work. The size is 12×18 inches. At that size, the file size ends up being around 160-170 dpi, but it still prints out nice and sharp with no jagged edges.
Now I have all these nice, big prints and I don’t know what to do with them, haha.
I love that–both of you, Vint and Tober! I want some!
Myg actually printed out a series of Moo Mini Cards with scenes from M is for Myg. We were really pleased with the results (but it’s a little extravagant in terms of expense at $0.25 per card). The photos that work best are the higher-contrast shots that really pop (there’s no backlighting in a print, as I’m sure both of you are aware).
In any case… trading among some of these prints would be awesome if you were serious, Vint. We’d hang them up in our home in a second. There’s nothing like a little interreality for strengthening the links between the organic and digital worlds. (I use images from RL for various textures and posters inworld, why not the other way around?) There’s probably a way to launder our RL addresses for anyone who’s concerned about maintaining anonymity, too.
1. Moderating is turned on on everything that contains an URL, as Askimet doesn’t stop all spam.
2. Askimet did consider your comment as spam and ate it.
3. Luckily brave me put her arm in Askimet’s mouth and just in time was able to pull back your comment by grabbing to ‘too.’ and applying a lot of force. You should be grateful that I saved it from oblivion!
4. Now the question is: why does Askimet regards you as a spamming creature? *grins*
Alex, great idea for after SL4B. I do not care that much about my RL address *coughs* whois * *coughs* but others may do so. =)
I had no doubt that the picture would turn out equally well in RL - I cannot believe how high the resolution was for it!! lol Very cool.
And ummm, as for the laptop, that does not look like the familiar QWERTY keyboard layout - which one is that?? Hurts my brain just thinking about how slowly I would type trying to find all the letters in that arrangement. ;-)

@Wrath: Its the (french) AZERTY keyboard I guess… you should try once… especially when combining a lot of letters and numbers (without num pad), and switching from caps to normal.. a breakneck, sorry breakfinger, experience…
But yes, since we live in a democratic country, where a minority speaks french.. we all have to use it.. a QWERTY kb must be stipulated as a special option, and many suppliers even dont sell them…
Sorry.. out of topic.. :-)

Did this comments thingy just eat that nice big comment I wrote? Argh. Or is moderation turned on?

I have both querty and azerty, so I can connect the one I feel like. (Querty was often better for gaming. ;))
But most of the time I - indeed - type azerty. Querty I can not find all the right dashes, accents and other stuff without looking at it.
